Tooth Colored Fillings

Composite resin fillings, also known as “white” or “tooth-colored” fillings are designed to match the color of your natural tooth. Tooth-colored fillings can be used for initial cavity treatment or to replace your old dark, silver, or amalgam fillings. These treatments strengthen the tooth and address decay while allowing you to restore and maintain a healthy and youthful appearance to your smile. As an additional benefit, these fillings actually support the remaining tooth structure, simultaneously preserving more of your natural tooth than traditional amalgam fillings while helping to prevent further damage. Plus, our dentists typically use a technique called Air Abrasion for our filling treatments. This technique makes it possible to perform the procedure without the need for local anesthetic or the use of a standard dental drill.

Cosmetic Bonding

For patients who may not need porcelain veneers or Lumineers® but still want to repair chips, fill gaps between teeth, or smooth tooth abrasions, cosmetic dental bonding offers an effective alternative. Cosmetic bonding is often ideal for the correction of minor tooth imperfections and uses tooth-colored materials for natural-looking restorations. Our cosmetic dentists will bond thin layers of a strong resin to the compromised areas, and carefully sculpt the material for the best possible aesthetic and functional results. The resin is then hardened and cured during the procedure to help ensure your results are durable and long-lasting. Cosmetic bonding is a relatively non-invasive treatment method that preserves natural tooth structure and offers an innovative way to enhance the look of your teeth.
